Melissabeth is a flirtatious hairy beary mermaid longing to return to her ocean home. While washed ashore, she channels this longing—like so many gay boys turned mermaids—into being a vessel for the divas of past, present, and future. Lovingly referred to as “the woman director,” Melissabeth is here to dream big, tug at your heartstrings, and support her fellow queer babies.

Since her birth in 2017, she has been a vessel for such femme figures as Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Mariah Carey, Björk, Allie X, Lindsay Lohan, and L*a M*ch*le (as Rachel Berry on Glee).

Melissabeth has returned to the sea (and is currently on hiatus), but could be convinced to emerge once again.
